The Winter Field is not actually a field but a large dirt clearing. No grass grows here, not even in the Spring, though new life sprouts all around the edges of the clearing. Not much here, but it's a great place to train Plebes. The reason it is called the Winter Field is that every Winter when it snows the clearing gets covered in beautiful ice crystals that sparkle in the light.
